SANDCASTLE

by Teague Parker
Directed by Mark Kuntz
JULY 14 - 22, 2017

Stranded, and leaving the only person you have left.

Husband and wife Andreas and Rowen are stranded on a desert island when they decide to get a divorce.

Bellingham TheatreWorks presents the world premiere of the Rhythm-n-Blues-inspired world of Sandcastle.

This dark comedy, by local playwright Teague Parker, showcases a world of two people left with nothing but each other and their imagination.

Playwright Statement:
Tonight, I invite us all to reflect on “Sandcastle.” There’s a truth in it that can’t be articulated, but perhaps that’s where the beauty lies; understanding something even when we don’t know what it is. The way you view the world matters, and with any luck, this story will bring clarity to the way you see everything around you.
