CRITTERS

A never-before-seen collaboration between BSCT and Canvas Dance Company, Critters! is a family-friendly storytelling experience where young audiences can be introduced to the art of dance. The six pieces about a variety animals are choreographed by artistic director Marina Clever in collaboration with the dancers. Each dance theatre piece tells a unique story about a specific type of animal or animals, from the busy bumblebee to the belligerent betta fish to the sneaky fox. With a half hour run time, it's a perfect artistic experience for short attention spans that will leave plenty to talk about on the ride home! 

The live performance will take place in The StrongBox, an auxiliary space located in Dance Studio 5 at Dancing For Joy. 

Each performance will be performed upstairs in the Strongbox space. For those who need special accommodation, a live-feed broadcast will be provided downstairs. Seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that seating is limited. If The StrongBox reaches capacity, additional patrons may be directed to the viewing room.

Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of the live event and check in with the house manager and/or ticketing. A staff member will provide further directions or assistance.
